Addition! Construction Team #5

Chris moved to another area of Mamelodi to help add an addition onto a house.  These houses were government built, have running water (bathroom and toilet) and electricity.   It was hot, rained, and we had design problems, but to know that group 2 will finish our work made of feel like we were making an impact.

In addition to being a Travel Group Leader/Small Group Leader, Chris was also Construction Team #5 Leader.  So if you want to know why Chris was going to South Africa?  To be a leader and to learn some leadership lessons!

At the end of Wed, we were about 50% complete and passed it on to another team.

On Thursday night we had a celebration service and dinner.  During the week we were allowed to invite one person to the dinner.  Chris' team elected to give all their tickets to the household members.  They showed up and five of the female members were baptized along with one of the construction workers from Charity and Faith Mission, Oscar.
